He and his wife has been using one for months now but the ones they are taking right now had some safety issues raised so they are now looking for other alternatives. My lil boy and I were supposed to attend a party at Herm's place this evening but I canceled it because of the bad weather. I just told my friend who volunteered to fetch us to just go ahead without us. I know I'm missing a lot of fun (and food!) but there will always be a next time. At least I saved myself from gaining a few more pounds this week. No party = no pigging out! Which means I can skip working out on the ellipticals just to burn those extra calories. :)

Home Alone...

It's already 3:06am here in my part of the woods and I guess you are probably wondering why I am still up and awake at this hour. Well, I can't sleep. It's the first time hubby went away for a trip since we arrived here in the US and I'm not used to sleeping alone anymore. I'm so used to his presence and snoring (lol!) that's why it feels so different without him. I've already counted herds of sheep, called for Mr. Sandman, drank a glass of warm milk, read a boring book, etc. I've done all these but none of these worked. *sigh* Well anyway, instead of being idle, I decided to just go online and sort our emails. I also printed out some of the travel insurance quote hubby requested online. We will be needing one on our family trip next month since we are bringing along our 3-month old baby. Better safe than sorry!

Baby Gifts

Two of my girlfriends are due to give birth this August and September and both of them are having baby boys! Which I think is really cool because Jaden, my 3-month old son, will have instant friends and playmates. :) And speaking of babies, this reminds me to buy baby gifts soon for their baby shower! And I'm just so glad I found this website called Baby Nest where I can buy personalized gifts for the parents and their little bundles of joy. You know me, I don't settle for "regular" gifts. I always want my gifts to have a personal touch to make it more special. Okay, I'm out of here! I need to do my online shopping before it's too late. Ta-ta!

1. What bill do you hate paying the most? Our cell phone bill. We are paying more than what we are using but we can't do anything about it because we are still under contract.
2. Where was the last place you had a romantic dinner? Here at home. We have a 3-month old baby so we no longer go out as much as we do before.
3. How many colleges did you attend? Two: University of the Philippines and Brokenshire College
4. Why did you choose the shirt that you have on right now? I'm wearing a long sleeved shirt and I chose this because I have a flu right now and I need to wear something that will keep me warm.
5. First thought when the alarm went off this morning? Hubby's going back to work!
6. Last thought before going to sleep last night? If I can manage a week without my husband because he's flying to the Philippines this Tuesday to attend his father's burial.
7. What do you miss being a child? Carefree feeling.
8. What errand/chore do you despise? Folding and Ironing clothes. It makes me sick. LOL!
