Word Count Plus

One of the things that's important in my line of work is keeping the word count for every blog posts exactly or more than what the advertiser wants it to be. And for years, I have been relying on wordcounttool.com but for some reason it's not working right now. So if you are having trouble like I do, you can try Word Count Plus. It's an add-on for FireFox. It sits unobtrusively in the status bar of the active window, where it shows you the number of currently selected words. You can choose to add that number to a counter, in which case you will also see a running total. You can download the beta release on this link. Hope this helps!

Another BBQ Party!

Remember my post about that BBQ Party Jaden and I missed last week? Well, we got another invitation and this time we are going! The party is set this Friday at the park. My friend already made a reservation on one of the gazebos so we can have a place to sit and chat while the boys are busy in the BBQ grilling area. Of course, that's their job. Hehe. Anyway, hubby and I volunteered to bring the drinks - water and soft drinks only. No booze because it's prohibited within the park premises.

Business Venture

My sister and I have been planning to venture into a buy and sell business and we are hoping we can start later this year. For now, we are still in the process of finding stores and sellers where we can buy wholesale products because it's a lot more cheaper to buy them in bulk. We are actually looking into Liquidation.com right now as advised by our friend who is also into this kind of business. But of course, we are not going to sell the same product. He is into electronics while me and my sister will venture into selling clothes and accessories for men and women as well as for babies and children.

May 2009 Real Estate Brokers Licensure Examination Results

The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), Bureau of Trade Regulation and Consumer Protection under Atty. Pedro Vicente C. Mendoza announces that 1,070 out of 1,944 equivalent to 55.04% passed the Real Estate Brokers Licensure Examination given by the Examination Committee for Real Estate Brokers in Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu and Davao last May 31, 2009.

Successful examinees should personally register and secure their license from the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI).

The oathtaking ceremony of the successful examinees in the said examination as well as the previous ones who have not taken their Oath of Profession will be held on Thursday, June 18, 2009 at 1:00 - 5:00 in the afternoon at the Centennial Hall, Manila Hotel, One Rizal Park, Manila.

Buzz Beater!

Jeez! I'm getting good at beating deadlines. Hehe! This is the second time I did it and I was able to finish 10 tasks within 2 hours. Maybe next time I can do it in just 1 hour. Because as they say - PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT. LOL! Naah, just kidding. It's not good for my brain cells. I should really stop procrastinating.

4. You go to a nice restaurant and they are offering free samples of cheese. You take a bite and it's delicious. Then they tell you the cheese is processed with maggots in it which make the great texture and flavor. Do you vomit at the thought of maggots, think "oh well but no more", or just ask for another sample? I'd vomit for sure. Haha! Anyway, this reminds me of Bizarre Foods with Andrew Zimmern on his recent trip to Nicaragua.
5. Would you rather ride on a cloud or slide down a rainbow? Hmmn... this is hard. Can I do both? Begging...
