Monday Inspiration

I have not seen yet The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, but I like this quote my friend posted on her FB wall. I asked her where she got it and she said it's from that movie.

It’s never too late... to be whoever you wanna be. There’s no time limit. Start whenever you want. You can change or stay the same. There are no rules to this thing... I hope you make the best of it... feel things that you never felt before... meet people with a different point of view... live a life that you’re proud of and if you find that you’re not, I hope you have the strength to start all over again.

Baby Shower Invitations

When my sister was still pregnant with Baby G, I planned to throw a baby shower party for her but unfortunately it didn't happen because she gave birth prematurely. I didn't even get the chance to print out and distribute the baby shower invites I made. Oh well, there's always a next time. And when that times comes, I'll make sure I have everything ready before the 7th month. I will order the Shower Invitations ahead of time, reserve the venue, and most importantly, set the date of party at the last week of the second trimester.

Anyway, to those who wants to save big on invitations baby shower, you might want to check out CardsShoppe. They carry a huge selection of invitation cards for every special occasion at a price you can afford. And you can get an additional 40% savings with their special promo plus FREE SHIPPING with minimum quantity purchase! For more information, visit their website at http://www.cardsshoppe.com.

Because...

When we hate our enemies, we are giving them power over us: power over our sleep, our appetites, our blood pressure, our health, and our happiness. Our enemies would dance with joy if only they knew how they were worrying us, lacerating us, and getting even with us! Our hate is not hurting them at all, but our hate is turning our own days and nights into a hellish turmoil.

Hiatus...

Important announcement! I'll be in hiatus next week because we will start moving our stuff to the apartment. Hubby already rented a U-Haul truck and hopefully we will be able to load everything so we won't have to drive back and forth to SLC. Because with U-Haul, the more miles you cover, the more you pay. Hehe.

Career Counseling

Before we jump into getting an associate's degree online, I told my husband that we should first seek the advice of a career counselor. We badly need one because we are not 100% sure as to what program to take up. And of course, we also need to know how much it will cost us, how long will it take us to finish the program, how likely we are going to land a job right after graduating, etc. I'm glad this kind of service and other helpful resources are available at Capella University, the premiere online university, because that's where we are planning to get our associate's degree.

Online or Offline?

Hubby plans to go back to school and earn an associate's degree on medical coding and billing. He already visited two schools here in Utah that offers medical coding training courses but he hasn't made up his mind yet as to where to enroll. He is still weighing down his options. And he is also looking into the Medical Coding Specialist Program offered by Allied Health Institute. He likes it because he can take classes online and finish the program within 9 months which is really great because he doesn't have that much time to spare. Hopefully he makes up his mind before the start of the new school year.

Bathroom Remodeling

Speaking of moving, the property manager of our new apartment complex called this morning and she asked if we have a preference for the ceramic tiles in the bathroom because they are in the process of remodeling it. But since I don't have much know-how on things like this (except for the color though), I just told her to email us the picture of the samples so hubby can take a look at it when he comes home from work.

Good Sam Emergency Assistance Plus

We are planning to go RV camping in Colorado next Summer with our friends and when I saw this Good Sam Emergency Assistance Plus (EA+) program, I immediately told hubby about it. With four kids tagging along the trip, it's important to be always ready in cases of emergency. Who knows what can happen, right? What if one of the kids get sick or hurt while on the road? With Good Sam, we don't have to worry about this because they can always send a chopper or ambulance for emergency evacuation. As they say, it's always better to be on the safe side. I know it's too early to plan for the next summer trip but at least I now know what our options are when it comes to our safety.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY :: MY FAVORITE THING :: ALL SUMMER LONG

Rain

It's been awhile since I played this meme, here goes...

1. What do you typically like to do on a rainy day? Cuddle with my boys. :)

2. Tell us about the last time you did something you later regretted, that you can share with us. Nothing big. Just the recent purchases I made online. I went overboard with my spending. That's all.

3. I recently got an email from a lover from a very long time ago. I was asked "Have all your dreams come true?" If it were you and it was from someone you remember fondly, how would you answer the question? "Not everything but I'm working on it. How about you?"

4. If you had a job interview and was asked, "If you were an animal, what kind would you be (other than human?)" How would you answer that question. I'll be an ant because they are known to be hardworking and despite their small size, you can expect great things from them. And that's me! :)

5. Do you think it is a good idea to share with a new lover stories of your past lovers? No. Because you'll end up like the crazy bitch pestering my bessy. LOL!

6. When do you think it is permissible or even important to lie? When it's a matter of life and death.

7. What was the last thing you did that you never thought you would? Splurge my savings. I have always been frugal but I don't know what's happening to me lately. LOL!

8. What is one important lesson that you learned from your mother?

9. What is one important lesson that you learned from your father?
