I'll Pass!
I won't be taking part in this week's Sunday Stealing because I can't relate with the questions. To be honest, I'm not a huge fan of Halloween and I don't like scary movies as well. The only thing I love about Halloween is trick or treating. Hehe! So that's it. See yah next week Sunday Stealers! For now, I need to focus in finding the perfect copper kitchen sinks so we can start updating our kitchen area. Ta-ta!
Mermaid Girl Loses Her Battle
I was browsing for the latest updates on mesothelioma treatments when I saw the news report about Shiloh Pepin's death. She's that feisty 10-year old girl featured at TLC suffering from a rare condition called "mermaid syndrome" also known as sirenomelia. According to news reports, she had been hospitalized in critical condition for nearly a week and died last Friday. A lot of people around the world were touched by her story including me.
To Shiloh's parents, my deepest condolences to you. May God give you all strength to bear this loss.
Frustrated...
I just finished making a slideshow for our Las Vegas vacation photos but then when I tried posting it in my blogspot blog, it didn't work! Aargh! I spent a good hour just to finish it and now it's not working. Come on, give me a break! This is really frustrating. Tsk! Oh well, I have no choice but to make a new one. I can't let this ruin my night or else I'll be needing drums and drums of wrinkle cream. Hehe!

Christmas Gift
I was able to chat with my brother yesterday and he asked me what I want for Christmas. He needs to know as early as now because shipping will take awhile especially for packages coming from the Philippines. But I told him not to bother shopping for gifts. The only thing I need right now is a diet pill and he can just order it online. No need to spend extra on the shipping and handling fees. Bro just laughed at me. He thought I was kidding. What he doesn't know is that I'm serious. Dead serious. Hehe!

Steel Buildings
Most of the buildings I see in the southern part of Utah are steel buildings. Perhaps because that area has a lot of factories and manufacturing plants. Investors would choose to build steel buildings instead of concrete ones because they cost cheaper and assembling them won't take much time. And you don't need to hire a lot of people because the parts and structures are already prefabricated. It's actually like buying a book shelf at Ikea where you can just assemble it by yourself. But of course, the bigger the building, the more help you will need!

Investing in Gold Coins?
Are you interested in investing in gold coins? Well, now is the perfect time to do it! Investors from all over the world are investing their money on precious metals such as gold, silver, platinum and palladium because they have seen its potential. The supply is scarce and yet the demand for it continues to grow. And of course, when the supply is scarce, prices would obviously go up in the market. Makes sense, right? So if I were you, I would call Monex right away to learn more about precious metal investing. You can reach them on this number: 1-800-444-8317.
Reminiscing My Childhood Days
My cousin posted old photos of us at her Facebook account and I can't help but reminisce about our childhood days. One of the photos showed us hiding inside the stainless steel drums. We were playing hide-and-seek at the time the photo was taken and those drums were our favorite hiding spot. Why? Because our younger cousins couldn't take a peek what's inside because they are so short! LOL! Aside from being an effective hiding place, the drums also make an imaginary swimming pool during rainy season. Hehe!

Humpty Dumpty, Kankles and More!
1. Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall,

All the king's horses,
And all the king's men,
Couldn't put Humpty together again.
Why was Humpty Dumpty sitting on that wall? Because he was bored.
2. If Mother Goose and Father Time had kids, what would they look like and what would they be named? Their kids will look like Cuckoo Clocks and two of the kids will be named Goose Bump and Time Bomb. LOL!
3. Does Barbie have kankles? No.
4. Have you ever been featured in a magazine? Yup.
5. Did your parents keep a baby book for you? If so, how often have you looked through it? No. I was the middle child so they weren't that excited anymore. LOL!
6. If someone dropped off a case of candy bars at your front door, what kind of candy bar would you want? (Berleen's question from Insanity Cafe.) Toblerone
7. Rub-a-dub-dub,
Three men in a tub,
And how do you think they got there?
The butcher, the baker,
The candlestick-maker,
They all jumped out of a rotten potato,
'Twas enough to make a man stare.
What happened to the rotten potato? Further more, if they jumped out of a rotten potato, do you think they stink? It exploded and yeah, they stink like hell! LOL!

Headlights
My bro-in-law wants to replace the projector headlights of the pre-owned car he recently bought but he can't decide yet what brand to buy. I told him to check out CARiD first to see what options are available for his car and also to get an idea how much it will cost him to have it customized according to his taste. I know it's pretty costly but knowing my BIL, he won't have any second thoughts in splurging his hard-earned money just to get what he wants.

TV Stand, Anyone?
Who wants a pre-owned tv stand? We are giving away our old one because it doesn't match with our new living room furniture. It's way too simple. I want something that will help accent the wall. A tv stand that has a darker "woody" shade and has some extra platforms for my crystal angel collection. And it should be sturdy because I will be using it not just a stand, a display case, but as well as storage for hubby's DVD collection.

Off to Canada!
Hubby just got off the phone with his aunt in Edmonton. They talked about grandma's trip to Canada next year and she's asking if it is possible for my mom-in-law to accompany her because with grandma's age and health condition, it's would not be safe for her to travel alone. She said she will take care of the medical travel insurance just in case the Canadian Embassy will require it. Well, mom-in-law is willing to be the "chaperon" but she needs to get a Canadian tourist visa first. Hopefully she will be granted one given that she already have a US tourist visa and has traveled not just here in the US but as well as in Europe and in some parts of Asia.
