General Cleaning

I just talked to my baby sister and she asked if she can get rid of my old stuff such as clothes, stuffed toys, bags, textbooks, etc. They are cleaning the whole house in preparation for my dad's 55th birthday and for Christmas as well. Since I'm trying (hard) not to be a packrat, I gave her my go signal. But instead of throwing it in the trash, I told her to box everything and have it delivered in my grandma's house in the province. I'm sure my younger cousins can use some of my old stuff especially the clothes. As for my college textbooks, I instructed my sister to find a buy and sell textbooks website because they're still worth something. That way we can raise funds for our upcoming family reunion this Christmas.

My friend is giving me a headache. She's asking for my advice about the new business deal that was offered to her and yet she's not listening to me. I mean, she only hears what she wanted to hear. I am not being negative about the whole thing. The proposal is well laid out and looks like it was written by a professional business plan writer. But of course, you have to weigh down the pros and cons before investing your hard-earned money. You can just jump in right away just because Mr. John Doe told you he can triple your investment within a few months. It sounds too good to be true. Anyway, I already said my piece. It's up to her. If she gets scammed, then it's all her fault and cannot blame me.

October 2009 Licensure Examination for Teachers Results

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 8,045 elementary teachers out of 43,086 examinees (18.67%), 26 Accelerated Teacher Education Program (A.T.E.P.) graduates out of 146 examinees (17.81%) and 10,792 secondary teachers out of 38,339 examinees (28.15%) successfully passed the Licensure Examination for Teachers (L.E.T) given by the Board for Professional Teachers on October 4, 2009 in 23 testing centers all over the Philippines. The Board for Professional Teachers is composed of Dr. Brenda B. Corpuz, Officer-In-Charge; Dr. Reynaldo T. Peña and Dr. Faith M. Bachiller, Members.

Gosh! It's already 2.28am here in my side of the world and yet I'm still here blogging! This is what I get for not updating my blogs for almost a week. Online work has been piling up and I have to finish a couple of tasks today to avoid getting reprimanded by my boss. I just hope my eye cream will work their magic because I need to look fresh tomorrow because I'm meeting up with some friends to watch Pacman's fight versus Cotto live via pay-per-view.

I Want to Scrap!

... but the urge died when I saw how messy my stash is! I have a lot of downloaded freebie kits that I haven't organized yet. So instead of scrapping, I spent the whole afternoon organizing and unzipping my digital kits. And by the time I was done, my scrapping mojo already left me. Hay naku! But at least if the urge strikes again, I can work right away because everything is set already. And I've got a feeling it will be binge scrapping because I haven't done it in a long time and I have tons of cute photos to scrap with. I'll probably stay up until the wee hours of the morning scrapping. Keber ang dark eye circles. Hehe. :)

Ouchy!

I went to the gym this morning and now my arms feel like they are going to fall off! I guess I spent too much time in the dip bar that's why my muscles are so sore. I couldn't even lift the lil boy coz it hurts like hell. Tsk! Note to self: don't over do it next time! Or stick to the treadmill and run more laps!
