Making Progress

I am so proud of myself because I am making big progress in my driving lessons. During hubby's day off, we would spend the afternoon driving at a vacant lot intended for student drivers. So far, I already know how to park our car properly and I can now control the steering wheel. Next week I'll work on using the signal lights while making turns and if we have more time, hubby will teach me how to do the parallel parking. Most drivers fail on this area that's why I have to allot more time to master this one. And you know what, I have this creepy feeling that hubby will need the best anti wrinkle cream after I'm done with all my driving lessons. LOL!

Affiliate

Someone emailed me yesterday and invited me to sign up on their affiliate program. He said it would be easy. All I have to do is put up a link or banner on my sidebar so my readers can request for term life insurance quotes directly from my blog. I haven't decided yet whether I'll sign up or not but hubby said it's worth a try. After all, it's for free and the site looks legit as well.

New Start!

I am so happy for my friend because she finally found a new job. It doesn't pay as much as her previous job, but it's better than nothing. Jobs are so scarce these days because of the recession so she is not in the position to be picky. That's what she said. She will start working second week of June but before that, she needs to comply with all the requirements. She also needs to find a cheap health insurance company because her new employer doesn't offer any health benefits.

Shopping for Office Furniture

My friend and I will go to the furniture showroom a few blocks from my place tomorrow to check out their modern office furniture display. My friend needs a new desk and two filing cabinets for their newly opened photo studio so we'll see if we can find a matching furniture to the ones they have at the office. We are looking forward to scoring a good deal tomorrow since it is Memorial Weekend Sale. Wish us luck! ;)

Outdoor Rugs

I'm not sure if you remember but I mentioned a few months ago on this blog that I sent a letter of request to install tiles on our patio to our apartment manager but unfortunately, she denied it. She said we cannot alter anything even if we pay for it and that was part of the lease agreement we signed. Of course, we understand but we are just concerned about our son. He likes hanging out in our private patio and keeps on scraping his knees on the rough floor. But thank God hubby found another alternative. The moment he saw the outdoor rugs at our local store, he knew right away it's the answer to our problem.

Lies

Before I go check out this website here, www.bestweightlosspills.net, let me just answer this meme first because it's been awhile since I played. ;)

1. When was the last time you lied and why? I think that was last month. Hubby asked me to lie for him. LOL!

2. If you could move anywhere and take someone with you, where would you go and who would you take? I'd move to Skopelos, Greece and bring my whole family there! Including the extended ones.

3. What was the last thought before falling asleep last night? My overdue tasks!

4. What’s your favorite style of underwear for the opposite sex? Boxer briefs. Not too revealing but still sexy!

5. If you didn't have to work, would you? If you work from home, are there days you’d rather be in the workplace? I want to be working but not full time because I want to take care of my son. He's too young to be left alone in the care of other people.

6. What is a secret that you wouldn't mind everyone knowing? That I snore? Haha!

7. What’s a favorite movie that you wouldn't want anyone to find out about? I don't have one right now.

8. What’s your favorite all time medical and why? Urinalysis because it's the easiest! Just don't let me fill a 1-liter pee container, okay? LOL!

9. What’s the worst relationship mistake that you wish you could take back? Sometimes hiding what I really feel.

The Purple Dinosaur

I don't know if you noticed it too but if you compare the old Barney to the new one, the new Barney looks slimmer. Perhaps because he is getting older and he has to be more health conscious these days so he can stay in the entertainment business longer. LOL! I'm not sure if he had taken Lipovox or just did it naturally, but point is if a dinosaur can lose weight, why can't I, right? Haha! I know it sounds silly but hubby had been teasing me about it. He said it's a challenge I should win. Me versus the purple dinosaur - bring it on! LOL!

Semi Hiatus

Hello friends! Sorry if I have not updated this blog for two weeks now. I was just so busy I didn't have time to sit down and do some freebie hunting. I spent my free time studying my online driving lessons and now I'm ready to take my in-person test. Hopefully I'll pass that one in one take so I can go to the next step which entails taking another written exam at DMV so I can have my learner's permit. Then if I already have that piece of paper, I can start with my actual driving lessons for 40 hours and when I'm done, it's time to face the final challenge which is the actual driving test! Yay! Just thinking about it makes me really anxious but I have to do it because driving is a necessity here in the US. So that's it my friend. That explains pretty much why I was a no-show here for two weeks. Hehe. Anyway, because I was gone for quite a while, my online tasks are piling up. So before I drown on my overdue tasks, I better get going and start by checking out this best acne treatment website. I'll see yah in a bit!

E-Cigars

Has anyone here tried electronic cigarettes? I'm asking because I want my dad to try it. He's been smoking since his teenage years and I know quitting is not an option for him. That is why I am looking for a nicotine-free alternative to his smoking habit and one friend suggested e-cigars. He said it looks, feels and tastes like the real thing. Well, I'm not sure if it will work for my dad but I'm still going to try.

Seo Services

If you want to increase your online sales, here's my advice: hire an SEO services company. They can help put your business ahead of others by placing you on top of search engine giants like Google and Yahoo. But don't easily fall prey to scammers. There are tons of them out there so be very careful. Trust only the big names such as thinkbigsites.com. They have been voted Best in Search by Top SEOs and has helped a lot of companies increase their web sales.

Plastic Surgery

I have nothing against plastic surgery. If you think cosmetic surgery facelift will enhance your looks and will make you feel better, then go ahead and get one. But keep in mind this very important piece of advice though, just don't overdo it! Or you'll end up looking like Michael Jackson or Jocelyn Wildenstein. I'm not scaring you, but some people just don't know when to stop.
