Late yesterday morning it began to snow, small flakes feel from the gray clouds above. About an hour after they started falling, it became faster and faster, until the whole ground was covered by midnight. When we woke up this morning we decided to take the kids out to play in the first snow of the winter.
The children played in the snow and made snow angels, while the adults threw snow balls at one another. I took my four year old son out on a four wheeler ride through the fields, he had a blast! My three year old daughter wanted to run and slide around in the snow, while my one year old son did not want to touch it. It was very cold but we decided to stay out an extra thirty minutes so the kids could enjoy the snow. In this location, we rarely see it snow, but when we do, we try to make the best of it.
As time flew, we decided to wrap it up about lunch time and bring the kids in to eat. They quickly ate their lunch. My oldest son reminded me of the time, 12:30, like he does everyday, "Mommy its time for Dora". I turned on the television for them and they sat down to watch their favorite show, while I started to clean up from lunch. I plan to sit down and watch satellite television from www.directstartv.com with them, when the dishes are done.
