Hip Hop culture has been around since the 70s and has been popular around the world. Hip hoppers, as they call it, are identified by their hip hop clothing and usually, with their blings. Kids love to imitate hip hoppers and they look so cute in it too. Even older people do hip hop. Ask Ice-T. I think hip hop will never grow old and will forever be in our culture. Just get a cool hip hop clothing and you are definitely in.
Pampering yourself is a must. Whether you are working or a student, one needs to have some time with oneself. It may be a trip to a salon or a spa once or twice a month. It will give you time to rejuvenate your beauty and energy to do more of what is asked of you. A cellphone battery needs constant charging, how much more for an overused, overworked you?
A relaxing hot tub will give wonders to your body. If you cannot afford to go to a salon or spa, do it at home. Just be sure to buy those hot tub spa covers to ensure insulation. So go and pamper yourself.
You know what keeps me preoccupied these days? This is funny but you know what I'm hooked with this new Koreanovela that's being shown in the television. It's a story about a prince who fell in love with a poor girl. I feel like I'm that girl and the handsome price is madly in love with me (silly me, hehe). My husband thinks I'm crazy and he would laugh at me. Because of my addiction to this show, I bought DVDs so that I can watch it in advance. Good thing there's an English translation so that I can understand the conversation which is in Korean language of course. Anyway, bye for now. I'm off to the pharmacy to buy some creatine supplements for dear hubby.

8. For a few years in a row, you receive a nice tax refund: do you make an adjustment with your payroll deduction so they’ll take less, or do you leave it that way so that you can continue to receive the big check every spring? My husband and I actually made some adjustments last year so we no longer receive a big tax refund since then.
9. When was the last time you had butterflies in your stomach? When I had my driving class. LOL!

We invited a couple of friends over for dinner today so we can talk about our upcoming trip to Las Vegas. We are planning to rent a 12-seater van so we can all ride in one vehicle. Although one of our friends graciously offered to lend us his fifth-wheel trailer so we can travel in comfort but when we checked how much a 5th wheel insurance would cost us, we backed out. It's just a 3-day trip so no one is willing to shell out that amount of money.

Dressing for winter is quite a chore but very necessary for your survival and well being. Hypothermia takes the greatest toll on the human flesh by robbing the body of a fourth of its heat. Once you recognize the inferiority of the human body in the cold temps you will want to be warm and comfortably layered. Layers of polyester or fleece for caressing the skin would allow that soft comfy feeling. Make sure to avoid cotton for it will trap moisture and remain wet. Choosing an outer layer depends on the outside temperature. A shell jacket made of nylon, Gore-tex would be a fine microfiber for warmth and to break the wind.
Being prepared for winter storms is somewhat common sense. Some house hold items that we may have could be used. The things most important are rock salt to melt ice, sand to improve traction and of course a snow shovel. Make sure you have sufficient heating a well insulated home and protect any exposed water pipes. Don't forget to have an armory of food stored up in case of long isolation. After this being said make sure to set your home alarm from www.Securitychoice.com/ before leaving your house.

My little boy loves to wear any sort of hats. That's why this Halloween, I am planning to buy him a cowboy costume and a Stetson Hat. And if I convince the husband, then maybe we can all go to our friend's annual Halloween Party dressed up as cowboys and cowgirl. I know we can pull off the wild wild west look but first things first, I need to convince hubby to play along because sometimes he can be a party pooper. But there's no need to stress on it really because I still have seven months to talk him into it. ;)

My friend showed me the mothers day birthstone jewelry she got last year from her eldest son. It's a gold necklace with sparkling round-cut diamonds on the pendant. She told me her son worked part-time to save up for that necklace that's why it's so precious to her. Aside from the jewelry, her son also gave her a bunch of roses and a box of her favorite white chocolate. Indeed, it was a very touching expression of a child's love to his mother. How I wish my son will do the same for me when he's old enough. :)

I did an early spring cleaning yesterday and while sorting out my closet, I found two sets of lingerie which I haven't worn yet. I think I got them on my birthday two years ago. Sadly though, I can no longer wear them because they're too tight for my new voluptuous body. Sigh! Well, since I can't use them, I might as well add it to my balikbayan box and send it to my sisters back home. I'm sure they will love it.
